Becoming a Coach

 Thank you for considering becoming a coach. Our association and the community's youth rely on coaches to make soccer a reality in our area!

Season runs May 5 2026 - June 25 2026

-Intro to Soccer runs Tuesdays 5:00pm-5:45pm
-U5 to U11 runs Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:45pm - 6:45pm

-League Schedule is still being determined for U13 & U15 
Our best guess:
U13 Monday & Wednesdays 7pm-8pm Practices 7:30-8:30pm game nights 
U15 Tuesdays & Thursdays 7pm-8pm Practices 7:30-8:30pm game nights
League will have some travel and we'll forward information as we get it from Tri-county

All costs associated with courses fees will be reimbursed.

Coaching Pathway:

1. Create NCCP Number & Safe Sport Training

2. Complete Mandatory Safe Sport Modules

Before diving into soccer-specific training, coaches must complete the following Safe-Sport online eLearning courses available through the NCCP Locker:

• NCCP Understanding the Rule of Two (20 Minutes | Free)
• NCCP Emergency Action Plan (15 Minutes | Free)
• NCCP Making Headway in Sport (60 Minutes | Free)
• NCCP Make Ethical Decisions (45-60 Minutes | $85)
• Respect in Sport for Activity Leaders (180 Minutes | $25)
• NCCP Safe Sport Training* (90 Minutes | Free)

3. Soccer Specific training

In-House U5 - U11 Coaches only need the mandatory Safe Sport courses listed above, but additional online and in person training listed below is encouraged!

• Active Start - Intro  & U5 (90 min | $21)
• Fundamentals - U7 & U9 (90 min | $21)
• Learn to Train - U11 (120 min | $31.50)

U13/U15 League Coaches must be fully certified per Tri-county District rules. .

U13 League Coach requires online & in person  Learn to Train (120 min | $31.50)

U15 League Coach requires online & in person - Soccer for Life (120 min | $31.50)

League Coaches it is mandatory to complete both the online modules and in person events.

4. Criminal Record/VSS Check

A current (within 36 months) Criminal Record/VSS Check is required for all coaches, regardless of age group.

If you do not have one please Print this sheet off and take it to the local RCMP detachment so there will be no cost to get one updated.

5. Update Your Ramp Profile

 Create your Ramp

 Register as a staff / coach

• Scroll to click the age group you'd like to coach, then scroll to the bottom to sign to continue the sign up process.
• add your NCCP #, Criminal Record check / vulnerable Sector Check in to your Ramp profile.

6. Email Receipts / Course certificates
